This is de-winterize day. An opportunity to flush out the antifreeze from our water system, and get the motorhome ready for the warmer weather. Finally! Even though the campground is nothing but a paved parking lot, it felt good to settle in and not worry about everything freezing. The daytime temperatures are in the 20 C range which is just great.
As mentioned, the RV site has full services, but no WiFI. However, it did have cable TV. So, off to the local Ace Hardware and to purchase a cable. Although the cable service provided about 65 channels, the important ones were the ones to allow us to watch NFL football playoffs. Brenda was overjoyed. Yeah! The local grocery store - Smiths - also had a small selection of craft beer, so a few Sierra Nevada Pale Ales were a welcome addition for football day - again Brenda was overjoyed.
We also found a nearby car wash where we took the opportunity to knock the road grime and salt off the car.
