We have friends from Lethbridge that have been spending the winter seasons at Blythe, California the last several years. We decided it was time to track them down and pay a visit. We contacted them several days earlier, and this was the agreed meeting date. Again, we made the trip from our campsite near Bouse to Blythe, California. The subdivision they live is just to the north of the city. We found them in a gorgeous little RV community that borders a golf course. When we drove in the area we immediately thought we had arrived in Canada South, as every license plate we saw was from one of BC, Alberta or Saskatchewan. We spent the afternoon enjoying their company and the warm weather.
We headed back to our campsite and made it back just at dark. We like to get back to camp before it really gets dark so that we can take Baxter for a quick evening walk without having to worry about coyotes causing us problems. Our concern is that Baxter will consider them another doggy friend rather than the potential predator that they are.
