A visit to Brenda, Arizona has been on our out to-do list for a while, and today was the big day. We headed south-east of Bouse on highway 72 then turned south on a paved secondary road - Avenue 42 E. Along the way we found an interesting street sign - 67 1/2 Street. Obviously they take their signage seriously, and that things must be accurate. Or... is this like Platform 9 3/4? Maybe we're muggles and didn't notice the importance.
At the end of Avenue 42 E we found an area with about 4 different RV parks that were seemingly out in the middle of nowhere, although Highway 60 ran through the area. Unfortunately we didn't see any signage announcing "Welcome to Brenda , AZ" or to even acknowledge the town exists. Just RV parks on the highway, with a road leading back to the north where we found about 10 or 12 homes on a couple of paved streets. You'd think the town would offer something more considering who was visiting at the time. Oh well, at least one RV park was named appropriately.
We did some investigating on Campendium and it seems that Brenda, AZ is a popular area for snowbirds. If the numbers are correct, the 4 RV parks offer over 1,000 RV sites for their winter visitors.
We headed back to our campsite, following highways 60 and 72. The remainder of the day was spent relaxing. Although the day was mostly cloudy and the temperature remained around the 20C mark, it seemed colder without the sunshine. The clouds did provide a spectacular sunset.

Oh, and by the way, in case anyone is interested:
