This was a quiet day for us as Doug and Marlene went off to visit a friend, while Brenda and I stayed near the campsite. Since this was Labor Day all of the stores in the area were closed, something that we found rather unusual coming from Alberta where it seems the stores are open all the time. Fortunately the Beer Stores were open, so I picked up a few beer and we headed back to the campground for a leisure day around the campsite. After checking a few things regarding our power situation I decided it was time to replace the RV batteries in our trailer. They were the original batteries from 2012 and I think they really served their purpose well. Seven years is a long time for a battery to last. With the benefit of the solar panel on our roof it proves the saying that a charged battery is a happy battery.
